Whether you know the name, you have probably heard the sound of Josh Kumra. The singer-songwriter who co-wrote and featured on the #1 hit ‘Don’t Go’, with Wretch 32. Now signed to RCA and in the latter stages of recording his major label debut.

“Alexander’s debut album ‘Morning Brings a Flood’ is the most beautiful album I have heard in years. Period”

    “A compelling debut record”
    **** Q magazine

“An object lesson in how to wring out every last drop of emotion”
    **** UNCUT

“A beautiful album with echoes of Nick Drake” The Sunday Times

Currently recording her ‘Bury It There’ EP with renowned producer Julian Simmons (Ed Sheeran, Guillemots), Kimberly Anne is carefully piecing together a record made with TLC, green tea and a dash of heart in your throat for good measure. Kimberly Anne ‘Bury It There’ EP due for release Summer 2012.

  2. A rather beautiful cover of Joy Division’s ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ by Revere & the legendary Kora player, Toumani Diabaté. (Hopefully Revere will join us for a performance soon…)

  3. Photo’s taken by Brad Inglis at our March 19th show.

  4. Pictures from our January showcase at Blacks. Magnificent evening.

  5. January 2012

Happy New Year! Looking forward to sharing some magical musical feasts with you! And what a treat I’ve lined up for January 16th at Blacks…

Hosted by the ridiculously talented (and lovely) Leisa Rea…

    Special guests include:

    Jesca Hoop

"Jesca Hoop’s music is like a four sided coin. She is an old soul, like a black pearl, a good witch or a red moon. Her music is like going swimming in a lake at night. Tom Waits

“Genuinely gorgeous…the likes of which come along all too rarely” Music Week

“The Lady Gaga of freak folk” The Independent

"…less preoccupied with shifting units than with gigging,..Albert Niland has yet to achieve the widespread and recognition his talent merits" The Sunday Times
“A voice that could make the coldest heart sing”…. Dublin Magazine

    “Guitar Wizardry…” The Independent

"Destined to become a classic." The Independent on Sunday ★★★★★

“One of the best voices in music today … an out-and-out masterpiece.” Word Magazine

“…my God, I feel inadequate describing quite what it is she does, but I’ll try: she deploys all her training and extraordinary voice control to an entirely new approach to composition. She’s right out there, doing things nobody else is doing.” Jon Snow

    (Pretty good eh!)
