Welcome to the Society of the Golden Slippers blog.

We're dedicated to the discovery & development of musical talent. Every month we showcase the best new musical talent to select audiences in salon-like atmospheres. Our events take place at the beautiful Blacks Club (Soho), Morton's Club (Mayfair) and the Club at The Ivy (Covent Garden). We're passionate about high quality performances, beautiful and intimate settings and warm, friendly vibes.

Earlier this year, Christopher Bailey (Creative Director of Burberry) asked Sam to record ‘My Doll’ for his acclaimed Burberry Acoustic video sessions. Latest single Hold Me Like The Sun and B-side Show Me Love is produced and mixed by Ian Grimble (Manic Street Preachers/Travis/ Everything But The Girl etc.) As the first full release the tracks are a true testament to the bands energy and standalone sound. Championed by Mary Anne Hobbs on XFM, playlisted on Kerrang Radio, Q radio and NME TV, as well as support online from Music News, Ilike Music and There Goes The Fear. The band have completed the 1st UK tour and close the year in Europe acoustically supporting Ben Howard on tour.’
